Our Office is Closed. What About Your Treatment?

In order to flatten the curve of COVID-19, our office made the difficult, but important decision to close and protect the safety of our team members and our patients. This resulted in the postponement of our non-emergency appointments. If your appointment has been affected by the closure, we understand that you probably have a few questions for us. Here are a few of the questions we’ve received most often. If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for below, feel free to give us a call at 603-224-9119.

Will this delay my treatment?

We’ve always told patients that showing up for their appointments is a critical part of their treatment. After all, we schedule the appointments in order to maximize our efforts in creating your best smile. Unfortunately, office visits are not possible under today’s circumstances. Don’t worry! We aren’t anticipating this change of plans having much impact on your overall treatment plan. We’ll be working hard to get your appointments rescheduled as soon as we open back up, but until then, you can take advantage of meeting with our team virtually. There are also a number of ways you can keep your orthodontic treatment on track during this time. Follow Dr. Vermette’s advice in avoiding hard and sticky foods that can damage your braces, and make sure you keep your teeth clean. This is a bad time to be breaking brackets, and practicing good dental hygiene is always important.

What are my next steps?

We will work hard to keep you up-to-date on our plans for reopening our office and try our best to reschedule any appointments you may have missed. Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page and our website for these announcements. While we don’t have a firm date to reopen in mind, please know that we’re making decisions with your best interest in mind.

What “essential dental services” does Vermette still provide right now?
