Ground Hog Day – Let's straighten this out

Let’s straighten out the questions about Groundhog Day.

Groundhog Day is celebrated on February 2nd.  Traditionally, if a groundhog leaves its burrow when it is cloudy, spring will arrive early (before the vernal equinox).  If it is a sunny day, the groundhog will see it’s shadow and return to its burrow.  This foreshadows six more weeks of winter.  While the accuracy of this tradition is often up for debate, it’s fun speculate nonetheless.

We found out Punxsutawney Phil has had a 39% accuracy rate and has seen his shadow nearly 87% of the time….so the odds are six more weeks of winter.  Surprise, Surprise.

There you have, that’s what we do at Vermette Orthodontics, we straighten things out!  Whether it’s by traditional braces or Invisalign, we are all about straightening your teeth for a beautiful smile and confidence.
